Help Us Make the Willow Summit a Success

We need your help in getting the word out! To make the 2025 Willow Way Summit a success, we are asking our partners, colleagues, and supporters to share the event within your networks and across your social channels. We have attached the October Events Flyer, which includes details about the Summit along with other upcoming events, and we would love for you to pass it along.

The Willow Way Summit, themed “Building Safer Futures: Together We Will”, is Willow Domestic Violence Center’s annual gathering dedicated to advancing survivor centered support and preventing domestic violence in our communities. This year’s event, held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship in Rochester, will bring together a wide range of professionals and advocates including social workers, mental health providers, law enforcement, attorneys, healthcare experts, educators, and community leaders.

The Summit is designed as a full day of education, collaboration, and hope. Attendees can expect powerful keynote and breakout sessions featuring local and regional experts. Topics will include trauma informed care in schools, rebuilding mental health after abuse, the intersection of human trafficking and domestic violence, and the role of firearm injury prevention. In addition to the learning opportunities, the event provides valuable networking, giving participants the chance to connect with peers across multiple sectors who share a commitment to safer and stronger communities.

Promoting the Summit is one of the most impactful ways you can support Willow’s mission. Sharing the October Events Flyer on your social media platforms, tagging Willow (@WillowCenterNY), or sending it directly to colleagues and friends helps ensure that the right people know about this important opportunity. A personal invitation goes even further. If you know someone working in mental health, advocacy, law enforcement, or education, encouraging them to attend could be the reason they join us.

Organizations can also amplify the message by including Summit details in newsletters, internal announcements, or community postings. Every share helps, and together these efforts build momentum toward a successful event that reaches across systems and communities.

By spreading the word, you are doing more than promoting an event. You are helping create safer futures. The Willow Summit is a place where survivors’ voices are elevated, where professionals gain tools and strategies that ripple outward into the community, and where hope takes center stage. Thank you for lending your voice and your networks to this important work. Together, we will make the Summit impactful.
