Celebrating a Milestone: Silver Linings International Receives MWBE Recognition in Monroe County, NY

Feeling both proud and deeply grateful today, I am thrilled to share some exciting news: Silver Linings International has officially been recognized by Monroe County, NY Executive Adam Bello for completing the county’s Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Certification and Utilization Program.

Certificate of Recognition for Silver Linings International by Monroe County Executive. Features gold seal, black text, and blue signature.

This recognition is more than just a certificate to hang on the wall, it’s a powerful statement about what we stand for and why we do this work.

The MWBE Certification is more than a title; it is a commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and equity in entrepreneurship. For Silver Linings International, a working-mom-owned and women-led business, this recognition affirms that diverse, women-led, and minority-owned businesses matter.

We belong here. Our voices, our ideas, and our services are helping to build stronger, more inclusive communities.

And at this moment in time, especially now, our work is needed more than ever. Across the country, conversations about equity, justice, and compassion are growing louder. This is not by accident; it’s because communities are realizing how essential it is to lift up diverse perspectives, compassionate leadership, and culturally responsive services.

This milestone isn’t just a celebration, it’s also a call to action. The need for compassion, connection, and equity in every sector, education, social services, business, and government, is only increasing. At Silver Linings International, we remain deeply committed to providing training, consultation, and leadership development rooted in trauma-informed and equity-centered practices.

Every time we train a supervisor to lead with empathy, every time we help an organization embed trauma-informed principles, we are doing more than professional development; we are contributing to systemic change.

To all the other MWBE leaders out there; we see you. We see the long hours, the heart you pour into your work, and the dreams you are building for the next generation. It is an honor to stand alongside you in this growing network of passionate, values-driven entrepreneurs.

A heartfelt thank you to Monroe County, NY, for lifting up MWBEs and shining a light on what’s possible when equity and entrepreneurship come together.

This recognition isn’t just for Silver Linings International, it’s for every woman, every minority business owner, and every dreamer who believes they can make a difference.

Let’s keep moving forward—together.
