Appreciative Inquiry Approach to

Create Action Plans to Achieve Your Goals

Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a collaborative, strengths-based approach to both personal and organizational development that is proven to be highly effective in thousands of organizations and communities in hundreds of countries around the world. It is a way of bringing about change that shares leadership and learning, fully engaging everyone in the organization.

 

Having a AI Dream and Design workgroup is a great way work together as a team to build on strengths to set your goals and create action plans that will achieve your dream outcomes. Appreciative Inquiry focuses on dissecting what works and building on those experiences.  The collective strengths of your group will form the foundation upon which you will improve a part of your system or program area.

What to Expect: 
o    Be ready to be engaged, energized, and actively involved in each meeting. 
o    Learn AI practices and apply them easily to enhance your own work. 
o    Create the action plans for 2-3 priority areas of need. 
o    Become the core of AI Champions to lead future implementation of the action plans we co-create.

 

General Agenda (each meeting is 2 hours in length)

Capacity: Minimum 6 - Maximum 25

Week One: AI Introduction and Overview

Week Two: Review Program Improvement areas and Select 3 Priority Areas

Weeks Three and Four: Dream and Design Action Plans for Priority Area 1

Weeks Five and Six: Dream and Design Action Plans for Priority Area 2

Weeks Seven and Eight: Dream and Design Action Plans for Priority Area 3
 

All meetings are held on virtual zoom calls and are highly interactive.
